Botox Dubai
Botox is one of the most popular treatments here at Dr Roberto’s and Dr Maurizio’s Dubai practice and their patients vary from 25 years old to 65 years old, and both men and women. Dr Roberto says, ‘Interestingly, in recent years, we have noticed more and more men coming in for botox for several reasons. The first is obviously to prevent aging, but also we have noticed patients who like a “frozen-look” for business meetings to have a full poker-face during negotiations. Women definitely come more regularly and discuss their treatments more often.’ Botox should be administered 2 – 3 times a year if done correctly according to guidelines. ‘Christmas time can also be a stressful time of the year, and this is also the perfect way to look happier and less-stressed, so many of our patients are booking in now to look fabulous and serene by Christmas day’.

PRP – Platelet Rich Plasma Facial Rejuvenation
The PRP Facial Facial is one of the most fabulous ways to rejuvenate tired looking skin. It’s natural and our patients now use it as part of their beauty routine. It’s safe and no chance of an allergic reaction because it uses the body’s own ingredients. A few vials of blood are drawn from the patient, and then it is prepared to extract the platelets and plasma which is the component that helps the skin repair itself. A concentrated amount of the platelets and plasma are then reinjected all over the face to create an an improved complexion. Patients claim that they wear less foundation because the quality of the skin has improved. Results show after 3 – 5 weeks as it is a natural healing of the skin. Results tend to last 6 months to 1 year depending on lifestyle and genetics. Profhilo
This a skin treatment from Switzerland to help create a more glowing and dewy skin complexion. It is a 100% non-cross linked hyaluronic acid product delivered through a series of superficial injections. Launched by one of the largest privately owned pharmaceutical companies in Switzerland, Profhilio, is now making a name for itself as part of the new beauty regime. There are 5-injections placed into each side of the face. The treatment takes around 20-minutes with a four-week interval to repeat the second treatment. The injections are not easy to administer so it MUST be done by a surgical facial expert as injecting too deeply means the hyaluronic acid can’t get to the surface and too superficial and you will get lumps all over the face that do nothing. The downtime is around 3 -4 hours with little mosquito bites at the site of the injections which will fade. After the first treatment, you will see a difference and after the second one you will see plumpness and a freshness. Results show after 1 week.
